Property has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around construction, renovations, investment properties and rentals, so conversations about housing and the property market were a regular part of family life. From an early age, I learnt that good decisions come from understanding the details.
That foundation shaped the way I approach real estate today. Whether it's a family home, an investment or a renovation project, I enjoy understanding how a property has been built, why it works and where the opportunities lie. It's an analytical mindset that has stayed with me throughout my career, and one I now bring to every client relationship.
Before moving into real estate, I built my career as an electrician before progressing into leadership roles within the energy and mining industries, working across project management and project finance. Those roles taught me to think critically, communicate clearly and solve problems without overcomplicating them. More importantly, they reinforced a value I still live by today: if you say you're going to do something, you do it.
I believe trust is earned through honest advice, not by telling people what they want to hear. If I believe your property is worth more, I'll explain why. If I think your expectations need adjusting, I'll have that conversation too. I'd rather lose a listing than promise a price I don't genuinely believe the market will pay. In the long run, I'd rather lose a sale than lose someone's trust.
I've built my own home, renovated several others and now live with my wife and our two boys on a cane farm, where there's always another project waiting. Whether it's maintaining equipment, improving the property or tackling the next challenge, I've always enjoyed working with my hands and finding practical solutions.
That experience means I don't just see a property as another listing. I notice how it's been constructed, the quality of the workmanship, the opportunities it presents and the questions buyers are likely to ask. Whether you're buying your first home, selling a family property or planning your next move, my commitment is simple: to provide honest advice, communicate openly and help you make confident, well-informed decisions every step of the way.
